Saving Electricity
We use electric equipment every day. We have done much to lighten our work both at home and at work. How can we use it effectively, while using the full height of the use of electricity, without wasting energy? With this in mind, we not only save money in our pockets, but help save energy, as all are aware that there is continuous energy crisis.
Most of the electricity consumption of them is television. When not in use, the television must be completely disconnected from the outlet. When not in use, television remains the minimum energy flow can be a digital controller. If this is not maintained, this will significantly increase energy consumption. Remember that all great things start small, especially if you have a big screen TV or a conventional CRT. One of the important equipment in the home is the refrigerator, which requires energy. Refrigerator is used to provide fresh food and fruits and vegetables. Of course you may be right, but before you put hot food storage, allow to cool to room temperature, this can save extra energy, even if you have frozen, it takes some time before lunch so that you can defrost in the car. If you buy a new refrigerator, look for one with good EFR (energy efficiency ratio). In general, manufacturers have got a government mandate to produce energy saving devices. AC power tool is a great option when you are at home and while the temperature outside the heat. Be sure to regularly clean the filter and check if the thermostat is working properly so that the compressor is switched off automatically when the temperature is regulated. Similarly, each with a refrigerator, if you buy a new one, choose one with EFR well.
Also read the manufacturer’s instructions, may have some suggestions for saving electricity.
Save Costs on AC
In many parts of the country, the AC is not only necessary, it is very important. Children and parents find it difficult to cool down when too hot. Heat can be just as deadly as cold, and often much faster to kill.
So air conditionings are a must for you, and turn it on. You can make savings for it. When you buy a window air conditioner, consider the size of the room you put in that do not need them to sell the largest air conditioning, if the room is not big now. Having the unit is too small or too large allows the unit to work harder than that and will cost you more in the long term. Look for units that save energy and a good brand, which will take longer.
Replace or clean the filter every month during the summer and your air conditioning is presented at the end of each winter. If you have a window unit, make sure the manufacturer’s instructions for the winter to follow. Your air conditioning is one of the greatest examples of energy at home. If you have an old unit, may be worth replacing them with new, more efficient system. You must pay the fee within a few years when you replace a group of more than 10 years.
Think about the position of the AC. You do not have to work hard like that in the shade with adequate space for heat ventilation.
Consider installing curtains for shade. You can even paint your house a lighter color to absorb rather than reflect the sun’s heat.
Losses can suck the heat and cool your home. Sealing utilities placed in your home. Stop all the designs that may be under doors and around weather-strips windows. Filling the gaps around the chimney. Consider replacing your windows with new energy efficient windows. Thirty percent of the heat in your house is absorbed through the roof. An attic fan can reduce cooling costs and get the air moving around the house.
There are many ways to stay cool during the summer. If you stay home all day, consider a trip to the mall or the library to reduce the need for refrigeration.
