A geothermal system for heating and cooling is something under the radar for years because of the impact they may have in the field of fossil fuels, but if you’re interested in saving money and doing something good for the environment, geothermal heating and cooling systems with some research.
Geothermal energy is energy stored in the ground we walk every day. Soil absorbs the sun’s energy every day a few feet below the surface. This energy can be extracted through a series of water pipes and then used for heating and cooling your home year round. Geothermal energy on a large scale is very expensive to drill and tap into geographic areas that limited ideal large cities, but for the provision of heating and cooling of individual homes has become more convenient than ever.
There are several ways to geothermal heating and cooling system for installation, depending on various factors. The most popular systems installed in homes today, the ring system. Loop system consists of a series of trenches to pull in your garden about six feet and 300 feet in length. Special underground pipes used for the life of a geothermal system to make sure the pump is connected to the system at home to keep the water temperature in your home warm in winter and remove heat from the house in summer.

During the winter, heating is very important and necessary. This certainly can be very cold during this season and your home has its share of heat. Fortunately, researchers have found a way to generate heat naturally without the use of power. This natural heat source is actually intended as a geothermal heating system. Heating system is robust and can provide heat for the entire house or possibly the entire building. Where the heat comes from? Most people are well aware that beneath the surface of the earth’s heat trapped. The heat was tested for close to 50-70 degrees Fahrenheit. This heat is preserved and renewable, so you do not have to worry about getting a lot of heat from the earth. As you can see, this is a very natural heat source, you do not have electricity or heating boilers are used.
How does a geothermal heating system work? There are three components of the system, including ground loop system, furnace and heat pump units. First, the system ground loops, or sometimes referred to as “closed circuit” is established under the building. This is a system of tubes filled with liquids such as antifreeze, water or air. This fluid is the journey to the source of the earth and absorbs heat from the heat. The second part of the geothermal energy is heat. Experts use a heat pump to pump heat out of the earth, the pump is responsible for the construction of the heat from the earth’s resources and let the fluid in the pipes to absorb heat. This is actually the main mechanism that allows the system to a heat pump.
The last element is the distribution system. Once the heat is absorbed and the liquid up the pipes, the furnace directly to the unit where the distribution system. If the heat on the distribution, building or household will now have the necessary heat during the winter. The cycle goes like this-if the elements of the hot liquid is released, it will come back down again to absorb heat. This continuous cycle or geothermal heating process ensures a continuous flow of heat in the building or home during the winter.
In addition to providing heat, this system can even be cool too. The liquid in the same ground loop system absorbs heat from the house or at home and cycle it. This system is advantageous in the summer months when people are experiencing extreme heat. Energy bills are likely to increase as a result of the use of electric fans and air conditioning systems and heat cycling road can mean financial savings on your part. The main reason why geothermal heating popular all winter because they are cost effective. Will be able to save money on electricity bills because you are a natural source of heat. Setting up a geothermal heating system does not mean you do not spend money. The total numbers seem expensive, but the geothermal heating takes 20-30 years. By utilizing geothermal heating is useful for anyone on earth. In addition, this system has been proven to work and efficient in providing heat, even in the harshest climates around the world.

Geothermal energy has been used for electricity generation in many countries, in Italy since 1913, geothermal energy is introduced, then followed in New Zealand since 1958.
The utilization of geothermal energy for industrial sectors has taken place in Iceland about 70 years. The increasing demand for energy and rising oil prices make people think to get alternative energy
In the early seventies along with the skyrocketing price of petroleum, countries that rely on petroleum competing to reduce their dependence on oil by way of utilizing geothermal energy.
Currently, geothermal energy has been used for electricity generation in many countries, including Indonesia.
In Indonesia, the search for geothermal energy sources was first performed in Kamojang Crater area in 1918. In 1926 until 1929, five exploration wells drilled to date in which one of the wells, dry heat still producing steam or dry steam. The outbreak of world war and the war of independence Indonesia may be one reason for the termination of exploration activities in the area.
Geothermal exploration activity in Indonesia is carried out extensively in 1972. Geothermal systems in Indonesia is generally a hidrothermal systems that have high temperatures, only a few of them who have moderate temperatures.

Part of the renewable energy that can use geothermal energy is certainly. Most people think of solar and wind power when it comes to renewable energy sources. However, you can also use geothermal energy from the Earth to cool or heat your home. With geothermal energy can heat your home in winter and can cool your house in summer. Therefore, geothermal energy can help save a significant portion of your energy bill by reducing the costs of heating and air conditioning in your house.
Geothermal energy is, in essence, using the constant temperature of the Earth. The soil temperature (a few meters below the surface) is usually constant in summer and winter. The tube at a constant temperature between 7 degrees Celsius to 21 degrees Celsius. Therefore, during the winter, the outside temperature is colder than the temperature is below ground. During the summer, the temperature in the basement will be cooler than the outside temperature.
Thus, using a geothermal heat pump, we can use geothermal energy of the Earth through the use of the pump energy as a heat exchanger. This works on the same principle as an air conditioner, from bags of temperature gradient of the Earth with the gradient of temperature in your home. When it’s warmer outside, and yet the same principle that you can easily change the coolest underground with warmer temperature gradients at home.

As the study continues to green energy, geothermal energy is one of the simplest ideas that actually has been used for hundreds of years. For years, farmers have used geothermal energy to heat their greenhouses. Italian farmers have used for hundreds of years to irrigate their fields. They were able to grow vegetables all year, because hot water keeps the plants from frost tender.
To lead to confusion of geothermal energy and decompose relatively simple principles. Consider this: Water is the most abundant resource on the planet. When heated, the energy produced works in several ways. Geothermal energy is simply energy from heating and hot water.
Geothermal energy can also be used in fishing operations. When water is heated, the heat makes it possible for all types of marine life – tropical fish, alligators, etc to grow in climates and locations normally not possible. These farms are among the largest users of geothermal energy.
Think of other areas: geothermal energy can be used for drying fruits and vegetables, the drying of the timber, wool textiles, and minerals of gold and silver. It is also used for heating pavements and roads, preventing it from freezing in winter, reducing the cost of replacement and repair.
Geothermal can also generate electricity. In flash steam plants, water is boiled flash. The steam turns the turbines of power. In dry steam plants, steam power comes from natural underground reservoirs and is used to generate electricity. Binary power plants also use geothermal energy. The water used to heat a secondary fluid which then evaporates.
