Natural Gas As an Alternative Energy

Natural gas is the fossil fuel in a gaseous state. heavy hydrocarbons are removed during processing of natural gas (butane and propane) to burn without producing much pollution.
This gas is in the gas fields and can also be found in coal. The technology is available to remove it from coal. This is called coal gasification. The gasification of coal is carried out by exposing the coal at high temperature and high pressure to break it into gaseous components. The problem is that coal gasification is a process so costly that it is not economically feasible.
Methane is also in landfills and are produced by livestock. However, the technology to capture and use of natural gas produced in landfills and livestock is still in development. For now, gas from these sources is not exactly financially viable at this time. It may be a viable alternative source of energy that can help us leave the import of oil if we can give it a try.
This gas is delivered to homes to provide warmth. Many heaters, gas heaters free-standing, and kitchens using natural gas as fuel. The production of electricity with natural gas as the process used to generate electricity using coal. Can be used to heat water and produce steam, then water. The system is an effective method to produce electricity, but can be even more effective through the use of a combined cycle system. The system uses a combined cycle gas turbine fuel treatment, in collaboration with the generator and a heat recovery steam turbine.
